Daily Life

Every day here is lived, not just spent

Activities

A programme shaped around our residents

We don't run a fixed timetable for the sake of it. We plan around what our residents actually enjoy, and we're always happy to build the day around an individual's favourite things.

  • Through the day Games, bingo, puzzles, quizzes and sing-alongs, craft sessions, looking at photograph albums, and walks in the garden.
  • Mealtimes Chef-cooked meals, with morning coffee and afternoon tea in the conservatories or on the patio.
  • From time to time Group trips out are arranged, and are charged separately.

Dining

Food worth coming to the table for

Our chef prepares fresh meals on site every day, with a choice at every mealtime and a menu that changes with the seasons. Dietary requirements, allergies and personal preferences are all catered for, without fuss.

Mealtimes are sociable, unhurried occasions, cooked by our chef.

The Garden

The grounds

Our garden is enclosed, accessible and landscaped, with mature trees, shrubs and perennials, an extensive patio, and a stream by the house. Some rooms open straight onto it through patio doors.

Outings & the local area

Group trips out are arranged from time to time, and are charged separately. Getting out and about is part of staying connected to the world.

Wellbeing & companionship

Beyond physical care, we look after how people feel. One-to-one companionship, emotional support and time to talk are built into every day. We can help residents keep up their faith.
